RiverSpring Certified Home Health Agency provides the acutely ill patient with short term skilled home visits: nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and social work. 

Responsibilities

The CHHA Manager of Staff Education and Training will educate, orient, train, and evaluate clinical and non-clinical staff in order to maintain and assure quality care services to patients. The individual works in partnership with clinical leadership to ensure clinical and regulatory compliance benchmarks are met by all clinical and non-clinical staff. The individual provides guidance on clinical documentation competence for the homecare staff and facilitates a smooth coordination of care, integration of services, clinical decision making and reporting for admitted patients. They will be responsible for assessing the needs of all disciplines and providing educational support for specific home care requirements such as, OASIS, regulatory compliance and patient/disease specific care planning.

Qualifications

Current New York State license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Master’s Degree in Public Health or Nursing Education preferred. Two years of experience in a Certified Home Health Care Agency. Minimum 3-years recent professional nursing experience in clinical, administrative or teaching capacity preferred. Must be able to effectively disseminate information to all levels of staff through verbal and written communication. Proficient and competent with Microsoft office.  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. Knowledge of OASIS/OASIS Certification preferred. Knowledge of HCHB or EPIC EMR Platforms preferred. 

 

Compensation: Min. $115,000 to Max. $125,000 Annually
